What you have been drinking

The word “water” to many of us is just any fluid that we drink: tap water, bottle mineral water, reverse osmosis water, coffee, tea, sodas, flavoured drinks, sports drinks, milk and etc. These are the common types of drink we have been drinking. Despite we are aware that these drinks are not good to our health, we choose to forget about it and drink it ourselves and give them to our children. We have believed blindly that these drinks are good for us by just watching advertisement. In fact, none of these drinks actually tell you the truth about how harmful they are to our body. The power of advertisement has fooled many of us, letting these companies make money by doing damage to our health.

Have we calculated how much have we spend in our life time to buy these water to do damaage to our health, thinking that they are healthy stuff and worth the money? Is this only what we have spent? When these drinks are doing harm to our body, will we fall sick drinking these drinks in long run? Do we have to spend lots of money to consult doctor when we suffer from chronic diseases and suffer in pain in hospital beds? Does it sound like have been spending money to make us suffer with sickness and shorten our life span?

It is never too late to change. You can change the world but you can change your choice to let your body have the clean and healthy water it needs and let your body returns to its origin healthy stage. You can change your health and life by changing your choice of water.

Truth about commonly drank water

Tap water

Tap water is a healthier option than soft drinks. But according to the Environmental Working Group, there have been 315 pollutants found in America's tap water since 2004, and over half of these pollutants are completely unregulated and can legally exist in any amount. Tap water from all countries contain lye and chlorine which are harmful for our health. Reference - EWG

In addition, tap water are oxidizing and most of the time are slightly acidic. These properties are not good for our health.

At the current levels of contamination, the public is starting to question the quality of tap water and wonders if it is safe enough to drink. Based on these facts, it's no wonder that the demand for Kangen Water® is constantly increasing.

Bottled Water

Bottled water is not necessarily healthier than tap water and yet it costs much more! Although associated with healthy water, bottled water is not guaranteed to be any healthier than tap water. Often the only difference is the added minerals which have no proven health benefits. These bottled water may be packed months and exposed to high temperature during shipping before you buy them and consume them. Most importantly, most botltled waters are filled in PET made bottles. The problem with this type of plastics is that it leaches antimony trioxide, which has been shown to cause respiratory and skin irritation, menstrual problems and miscarriage in among, and slower mental development among children in the first 12 months of life, among other problems in people who have been exposed to this chemical over a long period of time. Many different type of cancer is caused by plastics. Is it good to drink from these bottle, knowing the risk of using plastics, storing in them and exposing them to high temperature?

A four-year study by the Natural Resources Defense Council shows that 1/3 of the bottled water tested contains levels of contamination which exceed allowable limits. Bottled water can also be slightly acidic, which may affect your body's pH balance. In addition, like tap water, bottle water are oxidizing. Finally, the environmental impact caused by the production and disposal of plastic bottles is harmful to our ecosystem.

Reverse Osmosis Water

Reverse Osmosis is a filtering process which may be effective in areas that do not receive municipally treated water and is commonly used in bottled water facilities. The problem with this process is that dangerous chemicals like pesticides, herbicides, and chlorine are molecularly smaller than water and can pass freely through the filter. Reverse osmosis removes healthy, naturally occurring water minerals. These minerals not only provide good taste, they also serve a vital function in the body's system. When stripped of these minerals, water can be unhealthy. Also, 2-3 gallons of water are wasted for every gallon of purified water produced. These water are also know as "Dead Water".

Bottled Alkaline Water

Importance of maintaining the pH of our bodies is being known by many people and doctors. In another words, the benefits of drinking Kangen water® is been recognised and wide spread. This has resulted in alkaline water sold in bottles are becoming a trend nowadays. Firstly, they have the same issues as any bottled water mentioned above. Secondly, is this alkaline water really alkaline and getting the alkalinity done the healthy way? There is a difference between alkalized and alkaline water. Alkalized water is made via electrolysis and alkaline water is made by adding chemicals like Mg, Ca or others. Having too much of these chemical in our body is not good, and these alkaline water may do harm to our body instead of good. Thirdly, most bottles for bottled water are made of PET but alkaline water is known to leach chemical at alarming rate. Are these bottles safe to store alkaline water? The known safe plastics to store alkaline water are PETE #1 or HDPE #2.

Water from alkaline/magnetic mugs or aklaine pitcher jug/flask

Another trend that evidentially supported the benefits of Kangen water® is that many people and companies are trying to make a fortune by making alkaline water but are these alkaline water made from these alkaline/magnetic mugs, pitcher jug or flask really good for health? Simple science logic that we tends to overlook is that we need input energy to change a state or properties of anything (including water), otherwise the changes of properties will be from chemical reaction by adding "chemical" to the water. How do these mugs or pitcher supply enough energy to change the property of water from slightly acidic to alkaline water? Drinking water from these is good or bad for our health? It's not rocket science; one can figure this out easily.
